2008-9 Season Structure
The season runs for a total of 16 league games as well as participation in a Cup competition and is played in two distinct halves.
First Half: Sept 14– Mid December, 2008
Second Half : Late March – Early June, 2009
Typically, the season schedule is frontloaded so expect we play more than half our league games before the turn of the year as well as the early rounds of the Cup competitions. At least one game gets lost to bad weather and within the below predicted first half calendar we will likely receive at least one “off” weekend which can come at any time.

LEAGUE GAME MAKE UP DATE |
Second Half – TBD – Late March – Early June
League Games are always played on Sundays (usually in the mornings but can be at any time from week to week starting as early as 8am with the last game kicking off at 9pm at the latest)
You play the second and first team games back to back, both home and away. You register for EMC as a club and you can play for either of the two teams from week to week. If you’re fit enough you can even play 90 minutes for both teams on the same day.
As ever with football things are subject to change. Cup runs happen (well, technically this has never been true – we’ve lost in the first round of the Cup for four straight years – twice on penalties and once in extra time.) Bad weather takes out a couple of games.
