Recruiting for ‘08-’09
Itching for the beautiful game? Can’t live without your weekly dose of footy? Want to train on a weekly basis and play some extremely high quality amateur football on Sunday mornings? Want to help build a club (on and off the field) this season and beyond? If so, then read on because this is for you….
EMC FC is recruiting for the 2008-2009 season. The club will play in Cosmopolitan Soccer League (CSL) Division Two and will also field a second team (CSL Division Two Reserve). The standard of football is very competitive and the league, founded in 1923, is very strong. (read more here)
We have already begun tryouts and have conducted two sessions one on RI and XXXX….We have five more tryouts/practices before the season begins:
- Tuesday 8/19 – 8pm-10pm The Octagon Field, Roosevelt Island (Directions here)
- Sunday 8/24 – 8:30am-10:30am, The Cage, FDR Drive and Delancey (Directions here)
- Tuesday 8/26 8pm-10pm The Octagon Field, Roosevelt Island – Fitness Training
- Tuesday 9/2 8pm-10pm The Octagon Field, Roosevelt Island – Fitness Training
- Tuesday 9/7 8pm-10pm The Octagon Field, Roosevelt Island – Intersquad Scrimmage.
The league season begins on September 14 and players need to be officially registered with the league before this date.
